almost like a page
in a journal today
grey sky and trees
in the Winter
garden
different shapes
of the rose bush
and lilacs in the yard
they grew towards
the light
Poems From Oostburg, Wisconsin
early morning
hosta flowers grow
above the windowsill
July 2019
hosta flowers
begin to end
yet knowing
their leaves
will turn gold
August 2013
raindrops
on hosta plants
so beautiful
with and without
flowers
their leaves
in the sun
September 2019
mid-October
green and gold hosta leaves
by the ash tree stump
October 2020
gold hosta leaves
and sounds of rain
October morning
October 2020
grey day lovely
in its own way
a single gold leaf
outside my window
sets the day
August 2012
morning grey . . .
yellow leaf falls
and rests
on a branch
of green
August 2017
patterns on my floor
moving with the breeze
sun from the West
highlights
branches of leaves
