Poems From Oostburg, Wisconsin

Haiku from February 6, 2012
But they that wait upon the LORD
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40: 31 (KJV)
Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?
Daily Prompt
We live in Wisconsin USA and I enjoy the beauty of our seasons. Snowdrops are the first flowers to grow in our gardens in spring.
You get to build your perfect space for reading and writing. What’s it like?
Daily Prompt
raindrops decorate
my study window
new leaves grow
on the tree I watched
turn gold
My study is a small room on the second floor, and I am grateful every day. And I am grateful for blogs. The garden is also a nice space, with wildflowers.
Christmas CDs
playing with the volume low
in the fields
the beauty of harvested
corn in snow
My poem is from Quiet Christmas Poetry.
